Documentation Requirements
Rabies Inoculation
Timing varies by destination. For UK from South Africa: at least 4 months before travel. For Australia: before titre test, which must be done 180 days before travel.
Rabies Antibody Titre Test
Required for most destinations including UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Must show adequate antibody levels (typically 0.5 IU/ml or higher).
Health Certificate
Must be obtained from a veterinarian within 10 days of departure and endorsed by the State Veterinarian's office.
Import Permits
Most destination countries require import permits, which we help you obtain through our specialist partners.
Quarantine Periods by Country
Quarantine requirements vary significantly by destination. Here are current guidelines for common destinations:
No quarantine if all requirements met. Up to 4 months if non-compliant.
At Mickleham facility, Melbourne. Full process takes ~6 months.
At MPI-approved facilities in Auckland or Christchurch.

Important Note
Pet inoculations must remain current throughout the entire relocation process. Plan ahead and consult with your veterinarian early to ensure all requirements are met.
